We had an exiting time on Saturday early morning lifting the whole structure of warehouse extension, which also includes all girts, purlins, roof covering, monorail, cladding, roof openings etc. The structure was 12 meters long, 15 meters wide and 6.5 metres high and weigh was 10.5 tonne. We managed to lift this using a 130T crane, nice and smoothly without damaging any element of roof, cladding etc.
It was quite amazing to see such a huge building in the air waiting to see how it will fit into into an existing columns with zero tolerance for plates, bots etc. And it was fit perfectly.
Thanks to everybody involved in this project for their contribution to successfully complete this part of the above project. Watch this site for update on “roof shout” day.
