TENDERING 
A complimentary estimating service is offered to our existing and prospective clients. With the use of the most up to date systems and software clients can be assured of accurate and consistent costing.

DRAUGHTING

Reliable and accurate shop drawings are a priority for every project and are the starting point for our quality assurance procedures. All of our drawings are prepared by our own dedicated team of experts using the latest ProSteel 3D CAD software

FABRICATION 
With an average capacity of 400 tonne p/month, a 4,000m2 factory and a metal works capacity of up to $400K p/month we can sensibly accommodate the largest of steel packages. Our modern purpose built workshop allows us to deliver the highest quality end product with minimum hassle. Sophisticated machinery is utilized to ensure that construction timescales can be met and all fabrication is manufactured within the required tolerances, critical for ease of erection. In this industry, there are not many things that can be lifted by hand; therefore we have incorporated up to fifteen overhead cranes to insure a minimum of down time in the workshop allowing more productive time on projects.

SURFACE PROTECTION
All surface preparation and shop priming is carried out at our dedicated blast booth and paint shop allowing us to offer the highest quality finish.   Having our own separate designated painting and blasting bays insures a cleaner finish on raw steel prior to painting and has the added benefit of being able to turn projects around much more quickly. We are also able to offer a wide range of specialized paint finishes to our customers. .

ERECTION
We directly employ five separate rigging crews and all our steel is erected or installed under the supervision of our fully qualified personnel. On large or complex projects where high quality architectural finishes are required we always endeavor to use our own crews, however occasionally for smaller or simpler structures subcontract crews may be employed. All subcontractors are handpicked by our Contract Managers for their skill, reliability, and safety records.

METALWORK 
George Grant Metalwork (GGM) compliments our structural steel offering with high quality Architectural metalwork. There are significant efficiencies for cost and program throughout the procurement, detailed design and site coordination phases for those customers that choose to procure a complete structural and metal works package. Housed in their own specialist workshop GGM take advantage of a centralized IT, administration, management, estimating and draughting facilities.
