By operating a stringent Quality Assurance program, we aim to produce a perfect product every time.

Based on our extensive experience GGE have developed our own stringent Quality Assurance programme in accordance with the NZSISO 3834AS quality assurance standard. All project information is documented and recorded as part of our comprehensive in-house software management system "Optimis" which covers every aspect of each project. We employ two full time staff responsible for Quality Assurance both within our production facilities and on site and we have identified the following key gateway stages as critical for maintaining quality:

ESTIMATING | DRAUGHTING | FABRICATION | WELDING | SURFACE TREATMENT | DISPATCH

Each key stage is monitored and control points specific to each project identified so that any deviation from the agreed parameters are reported and remedied prior to proceeding to the next phase of production / erection.

Materials are sourced specifically for each project as economically as possible in compliance with the specifications and statutory codes whilst minimizing any waste, and our extensive database of suppliers are selected on merit and regularly vetted for their continuity of supply plus commitment to quality and service.

We employ highly skilled and qualified staff, all of our Welders are certified to NZS 4711 in the positions and procedures required for the particular project.

All steel is blasted to standard as a minimum at our onsite blast booth - at no extra cost - to ensure that a superior finish is applied to the steel prior to painting creating better adhesion which results in a better quality longer lasting protective coating on the finished product (we are also able to offer a higher spec blast finish if required by the client). Paint visual and thickness checks are required from all painting contractors and suppliers.

Our dedicated Site managers will assess and agree a methodology and Site erection procedures, approvals process and task analysis with the project team prior to arrival on site.
